The waitress was attentive and quick. The food offerings were expected, fried options of chicken fry, chicken, shrimp and grilled steak. Portions were generous. I rate the food taste as average.
If you’re looking for a good meal, I’d highly recommend. Good variety of foods offered - salad bar, burgers, Mexican food, etc. service was spotty but just could’ve been the day.
I really enjoy the food at the SCSH. The rib eye was delicious, the salad bar was clean and well stocked. I didn’t see the bottom of my tea glass either!
We stopped on our way through for lunch. Nice friendly atmosphere. A lot of trucks in the parking lot with a couple of nice family vehicles as well. Had a really good chicken fried steak. The wife had an ok chef salad. It’s a good...More
1950's furniture here. No vegetables with a meal except potatoes. Needs a big update or complete rebuild. Steaks are pricey.
The waitress hates her job and you can tell. All our food had a fishy smell and nobody had any seafood. Had a chicken salad and burnt the chicken, had steak and steak was not the cut if meat ordered. Had chocked strips and that...More
Way to expensive for everything.. not all that good to begin with. for instance_a cheap little 3cent dinner roll with a $30. steak. Been three times...worse waitress's in Texas. The lady running the register was nice and seem to be doing her best.
You don't get lots of choices in a small town. This was the only steak house we could find. Note, they have beer and wine, that's it for the drinks. The salad bar was very good, they steak was ok and the potato was small...More
Felt like eating steak and this was the only place in town. The steak was HUGE and nicely prepared could not finish the thing. Restaurant was nice but dated like every other place in this sleepy town cheers!
