I had the healthy quesadillas with small cup of tortilla soup. Both were absolutely fantastic! Lots of veggies in the soup!

Arrived for dinner and had a short wait. Ordered the $5.00 special margarita which had very little tequila. While at the bar, the bartender gave us the chips from the previous patron next to us. I found that a little strange so I pasted on chips and salsa. The menu is large and the portions are large. You will not... More

Definitely not your typical South Texas Mexican food restaurant. Combination of seafood and Mexican, If you can't handle spicey, be careful. Some of this food will send smoke steaming from your ears! Tell wait person you do not want spicey. Good drink selection and perhaps most popular is the margarita, with ice or frozen.

Great place to go. The menu is huge, a very wide variety of Mexican foods. I have frequented this place many times. They have a full bar with drink specials. The only con is the service can be hit or miss. My suggestion and favorites are the stuffed fried avocado or the Rick's shrimp plate.

Large menu and efficient staff. Food well prepared and reasonably priced. Stop here often when traveling in the area. Probably one of the nicer Tex-Mex restaurants in the area.

The food is always good and consistently tasty! From the cheese enchiladas to the Beef fajitas everything is always excellent. The tortillas are homemade and I have not found any around that can compare. Great Margaritas too!

This was my second time to eat here passing through. The first time was ok, this time, not so much. It was warm in the restaurant, uncomfortably warm, and loud. We ordered the special, and ritas. Ritas were pretty good, but we weren't very impressed with the special ( chicken fajitas with cheese enchiladas). I am just not used to... More

A good choice in the area, as long as you're not too concerned about getting in and out quickly. Food is great and the people are nice. Must note that the salsa and home-made tortillas are delicious. Service is slow though, you'll be waiting quite a while in between refills and the check. Prices are high for restaurant Mexican food... More

I traveled all day without food so maybe I was just hungry. Nevertheless I at all my meal and the business partner I was with are all of his too. I'd classify this as more TexMex but decent. I really enjoyed the Steak Tacos with corn tortillas in my meal. Took me back in flavor to central Mexico but the... More

Los Cocos has easy access right off the freeway. We were glad to see that this chain is reliable in consistency. The parking lot was packed with cars but we were able to quickly get seated and served. The front dining area closest to the freeway is rather noisy when full of people with the tile floors. It seemed to... More
