My boyfriend surprised me by bringing me here. If the weather were a little cooler, the outside patio area would have been perfect for us. Cute and cozy for being right on the road. Our server was very polite and accommodating. The drinks were pricey but the food more than made up for it. Portions were very large and the... More

This was our first meal at Valdos. We had the grilled swordfish and the stuffed snapper. Delicious, large portions, reasonably priced. Service and atmosphere was good. Highly recommended.

We had spectacular chicken Alfredo. Big servings with excellent taste. Our waitress did a great job. Highly recommended.

In a different location, this place might be considered excellent; but in this area there are several more upscale competitors. Valdo's has a water view, the food is delicious, there was more of it than I could eat, the decor is interesting although a little tired, and the price is less than you'd expect. Generally no waiting. I had the... More

First visit and was very impressed with food and service. Seafood was fresh and cooked perfect. Portion sizes were generous and margaritas were fabulous! We will be repeat customers!

We needed a good place for a celebratory luncheon after an awards presentation. 20 guests were expected. Valdo's was the only one of the nicer restaurants contacted who seemed to reach out to accomodate our needs. A section of the restaurant was set aside for our group. A special menu was arranged with excellent selections at reasonable prices (to us).... More

the food was OK. the service was OK. There really is nothing special about this place. No reason to stay away... but really no reason to go either?

We were a group of guys on a business trip who reaped the rewards of a little internet research. Valdo's! We had the stuffed mahi mahi, grilled swordfish and blackened swordfish. All the dishes were delicious. We also had the Spicy Trash appetizer which was crawfish, shrimp and crabmeat with rice and salsa. Great stuff! Large portions which made me... More

This is not the usual fried food but really great fish in excellent sauces and covered in crab, shrimp and crayfish. You can forgive the worn carpet once you taste the food. The last visit we discovered their swordfish and it was outstanding. And the vegetables are the best; a carrot souffle that qualifies as a dessert.

Your typical fresh fish and items for those on the family who need to be different. You can select you fish, method of cooking and enjoy a great view of boats passing on the deck.
