I recently moved back home to Texas after being in Florida for the past 10 years. I looked forward to seeing family, friends and playing with my first grandson. I was also excited that I could now get mexican food everyday!! I decided to try Sely's a week ago. It is less than a mile from where I live. Totally... More

This Mexican restaurant in Schertz is not your on the top tourist spots list. However, it's down home, muey Bueno Mexican food. The meals are very good, the prices are fair and the serving are large. You will definitely get your money's worth. The place is clean, the wait staff is friendly. My only complaint was our table was a... More

Chips and salsa. .Salsa is ranchero sauce. .no kick. .they make tacos that look like enchaladas without cheese or sauce. Tortilla soup was liked. .no return by our group.

One thing for sure at Sely's Mexican Restaurant you will not go away hungry. Large helpings for the hungriest appetite. I go there often and I like that it is not a fancy restaurant. Prices are good but the service is not always good especially on a busy weekend evening. The carne guisada (spelled wrong, sorry) is sometimes an extra... More

We ordered Sely's to go at the office today. I had the tortilla soup which was delicious! Everyone's meals were tasty and very cost friendly.

The food is pretty good and the service is pretty average but no complaints here. One thing about this restaurant, it has survived longer than at least 2 others that have been in that spot which is saying something.

I visited Sely's in Schertz for lunch this after-noon. I ordered one of the two specials for the day; two cheese enchiladas, two puffy tacos, rice, refried beans and iced tea. Total cost, including tax, $6.48. Such a deal. This cafe is in an old BBQ joint, a pink, tin building, of no particular attractiveness. The interior is plain, no... More

Great enchiladas! They have really good lunch specials too. More food than you can eat. It's not a fancy place so if your looking for ambiance, this isn't the place to go. But if want want really good mexican food, try it!
