I can't imagine anyone giving this place a poor review. We were told they are always busy during the lunch run so we went mid-afternoon. We're not the type that has to be seated so we just walked in, seated ourselves and were practically met at the table by our waitress ready to take our drink order. Very comfortable, cozy... More

This place has just killer burritos and enchiladas. There's a reason why you can find a place to park, and it's a small restaurant always packed. The locals recommend it. It does not disappoint.

We ate here with friends on a friday evening. Good special on buckets of beer- you get Free bean and cheese nachos which were enough that we didnt need to order anything else. Tiny place but service was fast. Would eat here again.

Never had a mexican breakfast before, and Armentas was that place very good food, and service... the building needs a makeover.

The Jaxon Special is our favorite. The portions are so generous, you can share or take home for another meal. Yum!! I ate it too fast to take a picture.😊

Armenta's is a San Angelo staple that many people could overlook if not paying attention. It is in a quaint environment but the food is unprecedented. If you like enchiladas I recommend you try this place. You won't regret.

Having tried several other Mexican restaurants in San Angelo, this place, by far, is the best Mexican food in town. Small restaurant atmosphere focused on good food and affordable prices. Definitely recommend.

Tiny hole in the wall, Tex Mex, where the plates with groaning piles of food are almost larger than the tables. Friendly service, only wine and beer, they even do a wine margarita, (drink the beer). I think that the most expensive entree was $16, which was a large strip steak, and comes with everything Tex Mex imaginable, beans, rice,... More

Great salsa but the best are the Monterey chicken enchiladas. Can't go wrong with any of the menu items. Never been there for breakfast but is always crowded. Be prepared to wait if you arrive after 6:30pm but the wait is worth it. Small inside but have a comfortable patio.
