My wife and I enjoyed dining at Rudy’s. The dining rooms are big, both inside and outside. The place is very clean and the staff is very friendly. The rack of ribs we ordered was falling off the bone good. I especially liked their sauce (or sause as they spell it). If you have not been the before make sure... More

Bar-B-Q done right. Pulled pork, brisket, Turkey, AWESOME. Cream corn is the best I have ever had. Can't wait to come back to Texas just for this.

I've eaten at several Rudy's and my favorite by far is on Hwy 183 N. Austin. One in San Antonio was literally the worst Bar-B-Que I've ever had, and I'm a Texan. The others are average in my opinion.

When I first moved to Texas and I saw this get up, I thought these people were bonkers! But it really is good! The brisket, the ribs (although I no longer eat pork...when I did...oooooooooowee!) All the sides are great! It's CLEAN inside and out! Nice spot to stop and rest and stretch...then take the Chisolm trail south to 79... More

My daughter and I visited on a spring break trip to Austin/Round Rock. It was our first time at a Rudy's, so they walked us through the different cuts of meat, and gave us samples of several items. We both absolutely loved the extra moist brisket. The smoked turkey and potatoes were delicious as well. We couldn't wait to go... More

My family and I are visiting from WI, had eaten dinner already at the Salt Lick but my husband really wanted to try Rudy's too. We were so full but went since we are leaving tomorrow. Told the staff we were rookies and got to try the moist brisket, turkey, cutter's choice brisket and creamed corn. Ryan was a hoot... More

Rudy’s is another Central Texan BBQ restaurant with multiple locations. Several people recommended it to us. We were not disappointed. We were told it kind of looked like a convenience store and not at all like a busy restaurant from the outside. The food was melt in your mouth. It was a casual fun friendly place. You gotta try the... More

We had an office meeting and used their take out planning service to provide lunch for 20 people. They provided us with 10 lbs of meat (1/2 lb per person) split as we requested. In this case I had 6 lbs of brisket and 4 lbs of turkey. We got 3 sides as well. They provided plates, plastic silverware &... More
