$5.99/lbs crawfish, Dozen-Oysters on 1/2 shell 1/2 price & $2 drafts from 3:00-6:30. The crab legs (though not on sale) were amazing too. Do yourself a favor and make this a regular. Very good food, and unique business model. Order at counter, they bring out to you. running tab on the honor system when you check out. Impressive, and functions... More

I was traveling on business and as always looking for something different... not the standard chain restaurant. I had the catfish. It was just the way I like it... not over cooked. It was moist, not dry and crunchy. I can't stand any type of dry meat. The service was fast. Self seating.

Eaten here several times due to their nice location. This time was a huge disappointment. The basic combo with shrimp and fish with fries was a disaster. It had been sitting under a heat lamp because the top fish was warm while the one under it was cold. Shrimp was chewy and Luke warm. Fries were just plain cold. The... More

We always get the oysters and the shrimp PoBoy. I usually also get a side of spicy coleslaw! Everything is always really good!

this is a go up to the count, order, they bring it, then you pay after you eat. haven't seen the honor system in a restaurant in a long time. this is a local place with friendly staff and good good shrimp, oysters, and fish. give them a try when you are near the coit beltline intersection.

Hubs and I were looking for dinner and he chose this spot. We had eaten here once before and liked it. Glad we went back. Protocol is unusual. Order at the counter, give your name and pick up drinks. Find a table and listen for your name to pick up food at the window. Condiments have their own station with... More

I love there crab cakes and hush puppies. I have had one of their PO boys in the past as well. They also have a really nice patio area. Because of the food being so good, I wish the inside of the restaurant was improved a bit. I would prefer to be sat down and to pay at table, but... More

My first evening trip was to the Aw Shucks in west Plano, where I had two catfish filets about 7-8 inches long .....and flat. Wonderful, along with two large silver dollar sized fried oysters and great plank type fries. Plus some pricey gumbo that was good. Thought I would try the lunch menu at Coit (Big Shucks).....the one catfish was... More

We're new to the area so we decided to try out Big Shucks, when we walked in (early) for dinner we couldn't believe how long the line was. It is an order at the counter place & pay at the end. After you order they call your name over the intercom & you go and pick up your food. We... More
