They almost poisoned me by claiming several dishes were gluten free but upon receiving them I discovered they were covered in flour. The manager and the cook were even asked.. both of whom tried to get us to eat the food which was not gluten free. Being gluten free is not a choice for me. I have celiac disease and... More

Dirty Al's was recommended to us by our pastor when he learned we were going on a short vacation to South Padre Island, TX. It was very busy when we arrived and it didn't take us long to understand why. My husband had the fried shrimp and oysters and I had the fried shrimp and fish (fresh flounder) and we... More

This place was good, but if you have a chance- check out Joe's Oyster Bar, which is even better in my opinion. We had the oysters, and two orders of the shrimp and fish basket. The oil they fry the fish and fries in tastes a little thick, which is why my Preference was for essentially the same thing at... More

We had a great time eating and drinking and watching fishermen come and go at the pier at Pelican Station. The Blackened Drum is one of my favorites. Not a big choice for Cabernet, but the house wine is good. Always good ship anyway you like it.

We were looking for a nice mid priced dinner that wasn't deep fried for our last night in South Padre Island. We were told that this location was a nicer atmosphere than the one in SPI with the same fresh fish and seafood. Our party of 4 had bone-in ribeye, boneless ribeye and red snapper. We all enjoyed our meals,... More

My husband and I both ordered the almondy. We do not like potatoes so asked for rice instead. This has been my favorite dish and go to Pelican Station just for this dish. It is very good. The price has increased quite a bit so we will be limiting our visits for one of our favorite dishes. We were there... More

This place is part of a chain owned by a local entrepreneur so what you find here you will find on the menu of Dirty Als, Daddy's , and the Donkey place. The quality is always consistent and the seafood botana platter will feed a small army. Seriously for around 50 bux you can feed about 6 regular stomachs with... More

We had a delicious lunch. The clam chowder was the best I have ever tasted. The almondy was the lunch special. Almond breaded fish with a special cream sauce and garlic mashed potatoes was excellent! My husband had the fish taco which he loved. Great experience!
