My husband and I really liked this place. It is bright and cheerfully decorated and the waitstaff are friendly and efficient. My favorite besides the breakfast is the fried grouper.

Very disappointing Sunday breakfast. Was very busy but got seated at the end of a table for 6. Server very nice but waited 40 minutes for food, which of course wasn't warm. Huevos rancheros & Spanish omelet were ok but not as good as reviews led us to believe. Hash browns soggy & inedible; biscuit would have been good if... More

I had fried oysters and shrimp this past weekend. This is a homey type restaurant instead of being touristy. They have a large menu, and the prices are reasonable. The important thing is that the food was delicious. They have a well stocked salad bar that came with my meal. I'll be back for sure.

Drove around looking for this place. It's not on Cotter St. But when I found it, the service was very friendly and the special was a ham steak and 2 eggs. It was delicious.

This is an excellent place to grab breakfast when visiting the island. We go here at least once on every trip.

Love the breakfasts at the Island Cafe. It's an institution in Port Aransas. Hot coffee, large portions, delicious food. Can't beat that combination.

We ate at the Island Cafe twice on this trip to Port A; the food was excellent both times. Portions were large, reasonably priced, staff was friendly, professional, and quick. Breakfast was wonderful! Supper was way above average in quality and variety. The Cafe was open when other restaurants were closed for the winter, which we appreciated. The Christmas Decor... More

Best homemade biscuits and big breakfast in town. Pie & coffee happy hours from 3-5 PM. Good fresh food all the time. Great friendly staff and great prices. Make a stop here. We will be back!

This is a small cafe on the main drag in Port A. The service was good and so was the food. The salad bar isn't very special, but the seafood was good. I had the popcorn shrimp basket, which came with the salad bar, a half a plate of popcorn shrimp, and a half a plate of French fries. I... More
