Never tried it but very bad experience on our first try. The restaurant had many open tables both inside and outside. My wife has trouble standing, she also uses a cane. We never got to try this restaurant. The entrance check in stand had 3 employees standing around it. When we asked for a table for 2, the girl told... More

I ordered the enchiladas pick 2 combo and the flavors was excellent and the portion was filling. We loved the salsa and chips were light and not greasy, the only negative was the wait after we ordered our meals and that was due to a lot of people coming to this little restaurant. Price was reasonable between 8 & 12... More

Fajitas or enchiladas-- either one and you'll be glad you stopped at the Adobe Verde. I really like their salsa there. Great location. Walking distance to many of the shops in Gruene.

Tortilla soup was dry...hardly any broth; Chicken for salad was DRY! Shrimp enchiladas were mediocre and more than I expected to pay!

We were visiting the area and this this was recommended to us by the front desk. We really enjoyed our food - good portions and the service was good. Would definitely go back if in the area.

My husband ordered the beef fajitas which were tasty. I ordered a tamale and enchilada plate. The enchilada was good but the tamale was small, old and dry. The chips and salsa are good, as is the rice. The service was slow, but the waitress cery friendly. I would say the food was average in a nice small town touristy... More

Cold bland food, slow kitchen. Service was good which warrants two stars. Definitely a Gruene tourist trap. Taco Bell would be better.

Good food, average service, slow kitchen...but we keep coming back. Fairly small inside dining area, large outside covered dining. I especially enjoy the chile relleno.

We dine here often, it is one of the few places around that my picky daughter almost always likes. She enjoys the fajitas. Of course they serve chips and salsa and they don't disappoint. You can expect great service as well, the wait staff is friendly and the atmosphere is typical of Gruene. Margaritas and beer selection are great. GET... More

I really like the laid back and casual atmosphere of this place, the Mexican dinner and service were good on our visit. The chips are above average, thin, crisp and not greasy. The salsa was tomato sauce, no flavor of anything except tomatoes and no spice at all. The margarita was ho hum, tasted like a mix to me, if... More
