A very welcoming public house with an extensive menu and good food. The restaurant was very busy but this did not stop good service and food. Very much recommended for a visit
A good lunchtime meal with good service and attentive staff who looked after our every need, despite a packed restaurant
Called for lunch just after 12, friendly welcome, new(ish) furniture, decent menu, low costs, vegetarian available. Good temperature beer, well cooked and presented food by competent staff. Big improvement since last visit about 5 years ago. Bookings available. Limited parking at rear and side.
Came for a meal with about 15 friends to celebrate one of my friends birthday. First impressions, the pub from the outside is lovely looking, garden area is nice and would be ideal to sit out in the summer months. The interior doesn't disappoint either....More

Lovely, young, friendly female staff. Good choices for 3 course menu and plantiful portions. We ate there 3 times, twice for evening meal and one lunch. Very busy each time so booking recommended. Prices good too. £14.50 I think for 3 course meal.
Came here with a couple of friends for a Monday evening carvery on 31 July 2017. Despite not living very far away, I am not a regular visitor to this pub so may have come on a rare bad day. When I arrived there was...More
