I worked here in Tenerife 20 years ago. Just back on holiday and wanted to see if it was still here. It is, and it's as good as it was. Don't come here expecting fish and chips and sky sports. This is local food served the local way. Try the Pechuga a la plancha with local red and green sauces... More

Nice authentic local food at a reasonable price. Menus are multilingual but the friendly owner took great pride in encouraging us to speak Spanish, which was a refreshing change from the usual.

I appreciate a lot that this restaurant offers traditional food. The owner was very nice, he recommended us great meals and explained everything about the typical canarian sauces, potatoes, sea food. Everything was fresh and delicious. Also the cafe tasted very good and was huge (and with whipped cream). Nice surprise was when we got special liquer to taste when... More

Me and my girlfriend found this place through trip advisor and were not dissapointed. The owner, Jose, had this place for 30 years and he could not be more welcoming and attentive. He was so friendly and looked after us so well. We enjoyed the typical, delicious food and its also very affordable. Highly recommended!

I had dinner in this restaurant with two friends and the food was very good. The owner was really nice and suggested us what to try among the many dishes offered. We ate some tuna croquettes, papas arrugadas with the red and green mojo sauce and the owner offered us a nice appetizer made of olives and goat cheese. We... More

Amazing food and excellent service, free aperitifs at the end of the meal from the chef and the best mojo in town. I would definitely recommend going there for meals. Best chef that we encountered throughout our one week trip.

Just had my lunch at Dona Juan. The staff were very friendly and the food was great. They've got a couple of little birds outside that would entertain you so it would be no problem going there on your own :-)
