Perfect location with great views and a nice atmosphere. We came for drinks but stayed for an excellent lunch. The portions are huge so don't over order! House wine reasonable. It was popular and busy but waiters accommodated groups of different sizes by moving tables etc. No pressure to eat if you just wanted drinks.

Visited here looking for a snack and coffee - staff member was very unpleasant and seemed to really dislike his job. Spoke Spanish to him and he replied every time in English which is offensive. Chips were undercooked and very oily.

As we were staying at the Rui palace jandia although on half board we decided upon recommendation this restaurant a try. The first time we went we had sizzling prawns followed by grilled sole(which were huge) and a nice bottle of wine all was good and we went away happy 👍 we went back again as it was so good... More

The location is really nice, just on the sea! It's at the end of the road, so not much transit. The fish is really nice and the portions are enormous! Had a starter and a main dish: both really tasty and giant! Only suggestion: don't get an espresso coffee, one of the worst ever tasted!

Had heard and read some good reviews so was looking forward to tasting the seafood. We were a large party so not sure if that affected the service. Disappointed that there was no fresh fish (daily catch) available. Comments on the food varied, my steak was delicious but others did not enjoy their meals. Lovely setting but not sure if... More

I came here for my birthday meal and was not disappointed. The food is beautiful! I had the garlic prawn starter which was amazing and the steak for my main which again was amazing. The wine we ordered was particularly nice (see picture). The staff were all very nice. If I come back here we will definitely be returning to... More

There are plenty of quaint seaside restaurants in this little area, but we found the food a bit disappointing in some of them. At La Laja we started with pimientos padron (€9.50) - a tasty, generous portion we shared. Then we had a paella (€28 for the two of us). It was delicious. We shared a half litre of the... More

You have a nice view of the little boulevard and the beach when you sit outside. We wanted to eat the fresh fish (madrigal) and were told there was only one and a half portion left, but they suggested making this up on a mixed platter with salad and potatoes. It was more than enough for the two of us... More

Great location by the sea but bad service and worse food. Had the goat cheese for starter which was OK but nothing special. The main dish however (escalope with mushrooms) was a hugh disappointment. It looked like one of those frozen dishes you microwave and tasted no better. It was the escalope (drowning in cheese and mushrooms), pale fries and... More
