Rio Grande isn't on the main strip but we'll worth a visit. On our 1st visit we only had a drink but we were made very welcome, the manager (didn't get her name) was very helpful with her knowledge about the area and all the wonderful food they cook. Excellent food and service. The honey chilli chicken is fabulous. The coconut icecream is heavenly. You must try it.

Ate in lots of different restaurants during our stay in Salou and this was definitely NOT up there with the likes of "The Guinness Tavern" or "Oliver's".

this bar is opposite the salou park hotel the food is always good fast service,good in price.depanding on the exchange rate,near all the bus routes

Been in Salou for 5 days and have eaten here everyday now. Lunch or an evening meal. This place should be rammed. Only slightly off the beaten track but, home made and home cooked food. I bet there is not a microwave in sight in the kitchen.... So so tasty..uber friendly... Best food in Salou bar none... Moules, lasagne, honey... More

This is well worth a try and with kids eating free with every full paying adult it is great value for money as well as excellent tasting food and very friendly staff

Absolutely love this place!! Food is delicious, service is exceptional and extremely friendly staff. Have been coming to Rio Grande Bar for the past 4 years and always receive a very warm welcome. Heartily agree with other reviews good food great service VFM And has the footy on france v portugal Chili chicken 4me and hunters chicken for the wife Bottle of mateus to wash it all down Try it

We had our last meal here and what a meal it was!!! Would highly recommend the honey and sweet chilli chicken!! Still sizzling when comes to the table. And the lady that works there is lovely! Even pushed the boat out and had a three course! Whole baguette for garlic bread, a huge bowl of nachos!!! (Bloody lovely) hunters chicken... More

Just arrived back home from a lovely holiday in Salou. We found a beautiful restaurant which was immaculately clean and with friendly staff.
