We came with friends and the food was great. There is also comfortable outdoor seating. Upon request, the chef made this amazing vegan dish for us. It was filling and absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this place. Everyone enjoyed their food and had a great...time.More
My family and I went to try the food based on mostly positive reviews; however, upon walking in to an empty restaurant within an hour of opening the owner told us the entire restaurant was full and there would be no room for us. We...watched other patrons come in to dine after us without issue. I am unclear what the issue was but due to the lack of hospitality no matter how good the food may or may not be, it’s doubtful we will try again to dine here. We've eaten at Taverne Korfu many times over the last 15 years while visiting the area. The food is always delicious and Nikos and his family always make us feel at home. Great food, great service, great atmosphere..
Decided to take the family to this place for dinner and were absolutely not disappointed! The atmosphere was great (we sat inside, outdoor seating available), The food was excellent! Between the three of us, we had salmon fillet (amazing), leg of lamb (well prepared and...moist), and the “akropolis platter” (steak gyro, grilled chicken, rice). Plus they gave each of us a free shot of Ouzo 😃 We will be going back again!More
Located across the street from the Parsberg train station, this Traditional Greek Restaurant never disappoints. From the traditional food to the wine selection to the decor, this is where you can take your family, friends, your spouse (there is a section for couples and singles)...or yourself!More
Taverne Korfu is located just across the street from the train station in Parsberg and close enough from the town's main attractions if you need to walk. It's beautifully decorated both inside and in the beer garden area, the staff is friendly and helpful, the...prices are affordable, the menu has a wonderful variety and the portions are generous.
We had the Souvakli, which consists in two skewers of deliciously marinated tender pork loin plus salad and your choice of rice or potatoes. Every meal also comes with a shot of Ouzo, a greek traditional anise liquor.
Everything tasted great and fresh and, although we indulged ourselves, we still had leftovers to bring home. They also accept credit and debit cards, which is very convenient for us americans temporarilly living in the area.More
