I have just returned from a one week stay at the Hotel Balcons where we were on a half board basis. We are in the restaurant every morning and evening. The food was delicious. Even though I was on a half board deal I could still avail of the specials every evening. I was staying with my daughter who is... More

We had a very pleasant stay. Very good menu and great to try local cuisine. Excellent service with particular mention to Pierre who made us feel most welcome - an asset to the hotel. Hope he's there next year!

We stayed at the hotel Les Balcons for a week on a half board basis and ate in the restaurant every morning and evening. On a half board basis there is a menu of eight ish main courses along with a selection of great starters and desserts. Some of these attract a very small one or two Euro supplement. In... More

Staying on a package in the hotel and had the half board option so ate in the restaurant. Breakfast was tasty and good selection of teas. Evening meal was great with good selection and a different menu of the day every day. Staff really friendly, especially Pierre. One night I wasn't feeling well and so skipped dinner -staff offered to... More

The food here is very satisfying Savoire fare, and the whole experience is made special by Pierre, the maitre D. His welcome is warm and his knowledge of wine and regional French food is excellent.

There is a Balcons Hotel and a Residence. We stayed in the hotel which was excellent. Warm and cosy with friendly staff. We would definitely stay here again. Ski in/ski out. Heated ski locker (same key as your room) is provided at no extra cost. Rooms were very comfortable. We had a 4th floor room with balcony overlooking the slope.... More

We stayed at the same hotel therefore had the chance to check the restaurant. It had a vast choice of food and wine, the specialties menu was really nice. I had a big portion of soup and a fondu. I recommend you take specialties rather than standard plates. Worth it!

First point is to restate what a few other reviewers have mentioned. Access is not obvious. You need to make your way into the hotel reception area. Then the dining area is in the next room along. It is well worth making the effort to find this as the food and service is excellent. We had the fondue for two... More

First time not really sure how to get into the restaurant, you certainly do not expect to get in through the garage..but hey, maybe you should get used to the French way of logic. Once inside, lovely and warm reception of the staff. Small but very good menu, better to reserve a table upfront as they also have a hotel... More

We returned to Les Balcons for a mid day lunch after enjoying it on our last trip. The food is superb, excellent quality and very good value.
