We were staying in La Plagne 1800 and fancied a drink, we made our way down to the centre and quickly noticed La Mine for it's bright lights and busy patrons outside. We headed on in and found a heavily mining themed bar with a great range of beers and a few places to sit down and have a chat.... More

La Mine was our main apres ski haunt, its location being about 100 yards from our chalet (Altesse). Fair range of beers (our choice being the rather "pokey" 6.7% Affligem), live apres ski music, and a cool décor (is "mining chic" a thing?). Definitely worth a visit if you're staying in Plagne 1800.

Great bar for the nostalgic who want to live there youth again. If you are more than middle aged you too can behave like an adolescent, listening to 70s music. The place is full of English grannies pretending to be 18. It's really a bit pathetic, it's not so much après ski as too old to ski.
