It seems that this restaurant is widely acclaimed by regulars, as evidenced by the occupancy of the tables on a daily basis... Normally, the food is very good, the welcome is pleasant and life is good on vacation! Fair price with excellent daily specials!

Perfect ! Family dinner for our son's birthday. Warm welcome upon arrival. Attentive and very fast and very efficient service. Excellent Brezin raclette with the authentic heating system for old-fashioned scraping. Quality charcuterie, excellent sautéed new potatoes with raclette. Excellent Savoyard burger. Surprise birthday song from the waiters. A big congratulations for the smile and the welcome from start to finish. We requested the first service which was full and we were called back on our phone on the day to tell us that we could come earlier after all. Great attention to customers despite the rush of the February holidays when everything is full! Good value for money for the resort. I highly recommend going there with your eyes closed, you will have an excellent time.

We ate lunch outside on the terrace and after ordering, our meal took a lot longer to come than any of the tables around us.
The children had an ice cream included in their meal. 30 minutes after taking the order (of flavour of ice cream), they still hadn’t arrived. By this stage we have been sitting outside in a biting wind for nearly 1.5 hours!!!

We were really looking forward to going here but it was disappointing. We were rushed in and our meals were on the table within 5 mins of ordering. We had 2 steaks and a children’s meal. Steaks were very fatty, veg with them was cold, chips looked like they had been sat there for a while, salad was ok. My daughter had chicken nuggets and pasta. It was very plain, dry nuggets and plain spaghetti (I know a lot of French restaurants keep childrens meals simple but this was very dry). Children had desserts and they were better. We felt very rushed and were out of the restaurant in less than an hour having had 2 courses. Maybe it was because we had children or because it’s end of season? We wouldn’t choose this restaurant again

We reserved for the second service, the restaurant owner leaves a small margin, even when arriving early, we were well received and seated immediately. Attentive, fast, efficient service with quality products. A good evening with pleasant and professional staff.

Very friendly team, super nice setting and excellent menu!
Good choice of Savoyard beers and wines, in particular Paix Dieu which is not found everywhere!
The daily specials ensure you never get tired of your week of skiing and this great restaurant!

We had lunch at Traino quite by chance and without reading the reviews when we arrived in Avoriaz and it was a good surprise.
We ate hamburgers, brioche and tarte tatin. The products used were of quality and well cooked. We recommend even if prices, as we know, rise with altitude.

Best fondue in Avoriaz, the charcuterie to accompany the fondue is excellent. Local products. Reasonable prices. Very good wine. The tartare was also excellent. Home made French fries. The locals go there. Would highly recommend it.

Certainly the best value for money in Avoriaz.
All the dishes are excellent, the flounder, the lamb shank, the breast......
Top notch service, very friendly and friendly.
PS: When we tell you “Where is the Andouille” it’s not an insult but quite simply that you ordered an Andouillette which was also excellent 😃😄😆
In short you can go there with your eyes closed
Our Avoriaz favorite for several years now.

We received a warm welcome from the team at Le Traino. The food was served very quickly and was delicious. A good childrens menu and a couple of vegetarian options. A few card games to play with the children was a nice touch.

Reservation for the first service with 2 adults and 2 children
Impeccable welcome, with a smile.
Seating in this small, typical restaurant near the bar and servers
Very substantial mixed board, quality products
A very tender and good steak, a superb mont d’or for my wife and 2 raclettes
The quantities are impressive and the server takes great care
Perfect value for money and a great desire to come back before the end of our stay
Even at the time of departure, a little sweet treat for our children

The food is good but nothing extraordinary. We asked for a good table and they set us by the door. When the door opens we fill the cold coming in. The waitress was nice , a bit in a hurry ...always.
