My family members had been to Luigi's several times to eat but I was always working out-of-town. We went last night and the experience has made be anxious to return soon! I ordered the lasagna and it was plentiful and hot. The rolls were homemade and seasoned lightly with garlic. My husband had the pasta sampler with manicotti, lasagna and... More

Our favorite Italian restaurant. The food is homemade down to the freshly made rolls. I highly recommend the Tony's special, simply delicious!

Went for a birthday dinner. Very clean atmosphere and friendly staff. Chicken parm was very good. Pasta sauce flavorful and they have tasty rolls.

We both tried the salmon special (salmon with vegetables and rose sauce over spaghetti). Bland. The fish was obviously frozen; most likely in hermetically sealed plastic bags. There was way too much tasteless cheese on top, and it reminded me of an "Italian" dish they used to serve at my high school cafeteria. There is no ambiance at the restaurant.... More

Authentic Italian food in this off shoot town of Waco.. What a surprise. The shrimp scampi was delicious, eggplant parmesan so yummy and the garlic bread rolls over the top. You can't go wrong eating at this small italian eatery in downtow McGregor Texas

I had tried this restaurant before (at least a year ago) and didn't like it, but had recently heard friends rave about it, so I tried it again. Sadly, I found it to be as disappointing as I had before. I ordered the stromboli. Some of the ingredients inside the dough were cold. I'm sure those ingredients are pre-cooked &... More

Luigi's has been a family favorite of ours for the last 8 years. Priced reasonably, the food is good and plentiful. You always get a basket of fresh baked rolls when you are seated and they will tide you over until the main dish is served, esp if you order a dipping sauce to go with it. Our favorites are... More

In a small town, you either have good food, service and prices or you don't last long. Luigi's has maintained a steadily growing business since the day they opened in McGregor! This lovely little town with a thriving downtown is across the street from the finest cigar bar in Texas (even non smokers enjoy) and one block from Chip &... More
