Stopped in for dinner and it was our first time at Doc's. Great décor and our waitress, Amanda, really took good care of us. We ordered the Snapper, it was really great. Also had a side of Gumbo which was also good and could have been a meal by itself. This tends to get really busy around dinner time so... More

After reading reviews on TripAdvisor, my wife and I decided to give Doc's a try. The atmosphere and decor are terribly dated and the wait staff was okay. The food, however, was a nice surprise. I had the fried catfish and fried crawfish, both of which were delicious. The Cajun dirty rice was not great, but I'm from Louisiana so... More

We were looking for a place to get some good grub on the way from Burnet to Pedernales Falls. This was tight on the corner of RR1431 and 281 making it very convenient. It was around 3 pm. Place had some customers but wasn't crowded. My wife a camp burger with avocado and blue cheese. Avocado was fresh. Kids loved... More

Fantastic food! Great atmosphere! Live music on Saturday night. Kimberly was our waitress and she was AMAZING! She recommended food that was all great! We will surely be back and to see her again!

Mu wife and I had dinner on March 10. It was really good. We received her birthday discount in the mail. Our adult beverages were the Mexican martini. Very good and lasted through dinner. She ordered the coconut shrimp and fried clam combo along with a loaded baked potato and okra. I had my favorite the fried catfish with a... More

Have lived in this area for 10 yrs now but have been going to Doc's way before that. 99% of our many visits have been good experiences & good food, there has been a few not so good. But that's to be expected I guess in any restaurant. Staff has always been friendly & efficient. Will keep going back!

We went in on an early Wednesday evening for dinner, unfortunately they were almost out of live crawfish so we ordered the last little bit they had. Amanda was an excellent server and paid attention to our every need and offered us plenty of alternative options. We tried many items and she even had the kitchen specially bread me some... More

I ordered the onion spinner, it was doughy and not crisp. We got Cajun crawfish & a shrimp and catfish meal. It had no taste what so ever. We'd have been better off going to Long John's. Don't waste your time or money.

Had lunch at Doc's. If you love fish this is the place to go! Many varieties and they do offer luncheon specials. Some of the entrees are adequate but the Pico Chicken could have had more quantity to the serving. It had quality however. Service was good and effecient.

Its Friday night and we are in the mood for a fish fry but being wheat allergic is a challenge. Doc's Fish Camp & Grill offered fresh catfish with GF cornmeal breaking and yummy homemade tarter! Thanks so much!
