If you want a real Texas BBQ this is the place to stop. It's on a busy corner and you can't miss it going or coming from Burnet.

The BBQ is good if you are lucky enough to get it fresh. They put it on a steam table and leave it all day. It is dry and tough. It is also highly over priced.

Friendly for pets, kids, bikers...indoor and outdoor seating. Tasty BBQ in Lampasas (but yuck, outside toilets)

Stopped for lunch service ok. Brisket was dry, portion was extremely small on a roll. Asked for no roll . Sides were bland almost not worth eating. Way overpriced!

We noticed this place driving through town and since they had outdoor seating and advertised "pet friendly" we stopped in for dinner with our dog. It was not busy when we arrived so no wait to order. I agree the lady was not particularly friendly or personable and a bit abrupt but she got the order right. She did mention... More

The BBQ was ok. Not my favorite and prefer a more smokey flavor in ribs. Overall, nothing was really bad. Just not spectacular. They have an outdoor picnic area that is quaint especially on a pleasant Texas night.

We stopped in on a Friday afternoon. The pulled pork and sausage were good but the brisket and Chicken were horribly overcooked. When I saw her sawing off the brisket slices, I knew it would be dry and tasteless - and it was. The sides were OK. Cornbread cost extra and the prices were high.

Stopped here on our way back home from a few days in San Antonio. We were in the mood for some BBQ and this place appeared from the road to be the place we were looking for. We were wrong. After walking in and standing at the counter for a few mins, a very unfriendly woman came over and sighed,... More

A variety of meats. We had pulled pork, smoked turkey and brisket. Both had good flavor and were tender. Potato salad and pinto beans, cole slaw and green beans were good as well. Great stop.
