Dirty little small town bar. But the food is good. Basically a place to go when it's hot outside and you're stuck in Jefferson for a day. The beer is $4 which is far too expensive for warm beer, but like I said when you're...More

"A dirty little small town bar," I guess that is a matter of perspective. "Good food," well at least we did something right. "If you're stuck in Jefferson," ain't nobody gonna make you happy! "Warm beer," we keep ours at 34 degrees; unless of course...More

We went in late April, and although Karaoke is popular, I guess I wouldn't have chosen a weekend night to have it. I don't get to Jefferson very often and like going to Skinners - but I would prefer a band or some light live...More

Very slow service both times we have been here. Food is good. Smoking is allowed. Kind of a biker hangout.

Sorry about the slow service. We are in the process of hiring more staff to hopefully better serve you and others. Glad to hear the food was good. Hope you will visit us again soon.

I had a grilled shrimp salad, and my husband the fried shrimp and catfish. These were edible, but the flavors weren't there. I thought my grilled shrimp could have had another minute on the grill. The service, however, was fine, and the people friendly. It...More

Love this place! Located in Downtown Jefferson. Cold beer and yummy bar food. Friendly staff! I had the chicken fried chicken with gravy and fried okra. The chicken was a large chicken breast fried to perfection with a generous side of cream gravy! The fried...More

We stopped in to Auntie Skinner's for an early dinner and were pleased with our food and the service. It's good down home cooking and the frozen margarita was pretty good too ;) The service was excellent, our waitress checked on us probably 3 or...More

While in Louisiana, we had to see Jefferson, Texas and wish we had planned an overnight. So much to see and do! Lots of BandB's to choose from. Lunch at Auntie Skinner's was fun and the only thing missing was the cowboys. The decor is...More
