We went here as we could walk to it from our hotel and we both wanted to have a couple of beers with dinner without the expense of a taxi. So glad we tried it, yes it is cafeteria style and the reasonable prices reflect it. We loved the ribs but the chicken was a little underwhelming, the sides were... More

I am going to be blunt. From the moment we walked in, we knew we were making a mistake. We so wanted to try Texas BBQ, we still do. The place is set up cafeteria style – go to the front, get a tray, place your order, take it to a table, eat. I think they may have had free... More

This is a great place to hang out with family and friends while enjoying some good barbecue. The prices are very reasonable. The atmosphere is vey laid back with an upstairs and downstairs and televisions to enjoy sports. You seat yourself after you receive your food. The baked potatoes are huge and very filling. All of the food is good!... More

Service is very quick, people friendly, portions are huge. Every time we visit we must eat there. We are from Memphis and I must say its some of the best BBQ we have ever had!!

I was looking forward to Texas BBQ but was limited to public transport or hotel shuttle. Pappas BBQ was recommended for a local restaurant. was disappointed to find it was cafeteria service. Had Cokes in bottles but not clear how to purchase. Brisket was half fatty pulled beef. Service of ranch beans and slaw was sloppy in too small bowls.... More

Wanted to try some Texas style BbQ. Found Pappas in a few different locations. The portions were ample and food tasted delicious. Even tho the atmosphere seemed a little Fast foodish the food did not come off that way. Excellent

We had the two meat plate with brisket/sausage on December 12, 2015. It was good, but nothing special. If you want a quick lunch, this is a good place. If you want a real Texas BBQ experience, this is not the place for you. The highlight of our meal was the pecan pie.

My wife and I went here for dinner - the food did not disappoint. I had the pulled pork baked potato - very large potato loaded with butter, cheese and slow cooked pulled pork. My wife had the half chicken with 2 sides. The chicken was moist and with great flavor. The ordering line moved quickly.

After living out of the country for nine months, we were looking forward to some really good bbq. Pappas restaurants have always been good but not this one. My meats, brisket and sausage, were not even warm. Brisket was very fatty. I got ranch beans which were just odd. I have never tasted anything like them in the 55 years... More
