The bar b que crabs, boiled crawfish and gumbo are the best in Houston. Know this is not a fancy restaurant, but the food is 5 star.

What we went for: A quick work lunch Ambience: Bright, cheerful, New Orleans and party atmosphere What we ordered: shrimp and crab gumbo, boudin balls and iced teas and a poboy( sandwich) for my lunch partner. Price: usd 35 for all Verdict: with a place as cheerful and lively as Ragin Cajun, half the work is done. You have to... More

RB&r are definitely above average and I would go back again but the cornbread is moist and buttery.... a little pricey for rb&r but the atmosphere and cornbread make up for it...

I and my husband had a lunch there the other day. It was in the middle of the lunch hours, and all the places in downtown tunnel were full of people, and we had to find something for lunch very quick... Well, this place turned out to be a great choice. After we ordered red beans and rice, in less... More

Ate at the one in the tunnels. It was fast, plentiful and not too pricey. I had a beef po boy and it was delicious and huge, my husband had the special of red beans, rice and sausage which came with a big hunk of sweet corn bread. The hot sauces and spices are a great addition.

Nick was awesome taking my order & guided me on making a perfect menu. He talked me into & out of some certain dishes. His... More

I like the Ragin' Cagin when I'm in the mood for a little Louisiana type food. They aren't the best and honestly a little over priced but its quick and tasty.
