Three of us had dinner here and were blown away with the food and service. Of course there is no menu but the daily food options gave a variety of choices. The fajitas were great and the shrimp tacos were just amazing. Friendly and efficient staff ensured we had a very enjoyable meal at a reasonable price

Irma's in the downtown area is good tex mex. They have no menu, instead the waiter reads off 5 or 6 options. The food is very good, albeit a bit pricey compared to similar quality places, but you are downtown near the ball park, so it is to be expected.

I was in town for a day staying nearby at the Westin. I walked down here for a late lunch. The service was good. I had the fish tacos - they were delicious. Huge tacos, the beans and rice were even great. I had a margarita on the side that was amazingly tasty. This has to be one of my... More

We enjoyed our first visit to Irma"s so much that we decided to visit there a second time before we left Houston! From appetizers to drinks to main dishes, all were excellent! And thanks, Greg for the great service!

Went there for a team party for lunch. Was not sure what to order. You need to look at the black board and decide. i could not understand what the dish meant and so ordered the one and the only one that had chicken and it was called Mole chicken. what i got looked like a chicken ice cream (see... Irma's is not a fancy Mexican restaurant yet the food is hot, fresh and delicious. The chips and two salsas are nice and spicy. Enjoyed the carnitas. Service is a bit off, but the food makes up for it.

Six of us at table. Drink orders wrong, entrees wrong, bills wrong. Took 20 minutes to get dessert that we ordered, then soapapillas weren't even warm. Guacamole was excellent! Fresh and just the right mix of flavors. Chicken fajitas and chile rellanos were excellent. The no menu thing is dumb, not sure why they think it is clever. It wasn't... More

This was a nice place. Crazy meat options for the tamales and tacos. Service was good but was not ready for a crowd from the ball game. Drinks are weak. Overall the staff was very nice.
