Came here for lunch on my last day in Houston. It was hot out but the garden was nice and it was too cold inside so we sat out there. Service was good. Lovely restaurant. The food was very good though not amazing. I like...More

I took the opportunity of Houston restaurants week to try out Hugo's and it sure has it's name. Food was great and so is the service. Everything we ordered was good.

I visited last month for a birthday dinner and had a great experience. They have many vegetarian options and the food was great. Service is good too and they even did a complimentary birthday dessert.

Hugo's was recommended as a good place for vegetarian dining, though they have a great variety of options for every diner. This was a special birthday dinner for a vegetarian friend and I was happy to go-veggie too. We asked the chef to just surprise...More

On par. Apples and oranges though. Hugo's focus on traditional and Caracol fusion and modern versions. Both excellent places imho

I don't know for sure, but I don't think its a "gluten free restaurant" although I'm pretty sure they have gluten free menu items.
