Reminds me of my favorite Manhattan West Village vegan oasis from the 80's. Perfect macrobiotic platter and vegan Lasagne. Fantastic soups. A purist's dream with an intriguing proprietress who surely has led Houston's vegan vanguard for quite some time. Great Smoothies as well.

Field of Greens is nestled in a strip sopping center and can easily be overlooked, but do stop in to enjoy fresh squeezed juices, nice veggie dishes, and friendly service. The prices are reasonable.

This is a very casual dining experience, with great vegan food. Everything is very fresh, and very friendly. They even have free fresh tea. So many options, mainly focused on sandwiches, burgers and salads. I came just for dessert, but will for sure be back. I had the Chocolate Tofu Pie, and the Fruit Crumble. I loved my pie, and... Well this place is absolutely wonderful. So many vegetarian options and also fresh juices. I love the wheat roast. I find its not as salty as most vegetarian meat substitutes tend to be. The Wheat Roast Fajitas, oooo weee! I love those. They also have the freshest tasting vegetables and juice. I love thr place, what more can I say.

I tried the burrito. Tasty and fresh. The reason 4 and not 5 star is because the burrito was a bit drier than I like, and not very spicy. Service was pleasant and quick. Outdoor seating was a bonus. Restaurant appeared very clean. Will definitely return

This is one of my favorite spots for a healthy, delicious lunch. It's tucked away in a strip center two blocks east on Alabama of the Whole Foods at Kirby. They have many choices, even a tuna salad and another dish for the vegan-averse. I've had that tuna salad a couple of times and it is deliciously seasoned with curry... More

Just ok. I could have made it at home. When I go out I like things I can't or won't do myself. We had the raw salad, can't remember which one and gluten-free avocado sandwich with french fries. The fries were okay I think it was the oil that I didn't like the taste of. Probably won't be going back... More

Great vegetarian choices, plus good raw food choices. The raw kale salad was very tasty, I'm glad they have raw food options. My family ordered the sweet potato fries, the tofu fries and the salmon burger and they loved every bite. The customer service was excellent, the server Nick and the chef Mario ensured that my food was made just... More

If you're looking for a vegetarian/vegan restaurant in the upper Kirby region of Houston, you won't go wrong with this choice. As one reviewer put it - it's not totally vegetarian as there are only a couple of fish choices. Other than that, totally veggie. Sandwiches range from sautéed veggies to a green bean hummus wrap that I find to... More
