Fantastic true Italian food, quaint, charming, intimate restaurant for a date night or with family. Service was 1st rated as you would expect from a fine dining experience. They have their standard menu but they also bring to your table a chalk board with the daily specials. The evening we dine there they had fresh morels and they were masterly... More

Had lunch for the first time at Antica Osteria, very good place to experience tradicional Italian recipes. Good ambiance seating on the terrace, and very good service, Morena, our waitress was kind and attentive. The Italian Chef, from Sardinia, came to our table and had a good chat with him, experienced we thought. The Scallops wrapped with prosciutto were delicious... More

Came here for a romantic dinner with my wife. It did not disappoint. One salad of arugula with Gorgonzola and the other salad of octopus with tomato and celery were both flavorful. I couldn't resist to dip the bread into the garlicky juice. The additional complementary garlic bread with diced tomato (bruschetta?) on the table was delicious. The braised lamb... More

Excellent dinner, good service, nice wine list. Veal, lamb shank, duck and pasta were all excellent.

I hate to even mention this restaurant I'm here, at the risk of giving away one of Houston's best kept secret's. Antica Osteria is a wonderful establishment with the world of ambience. Located just 3 miles from downtown 2 miles from the medical center and 3 miles from the galleria, you couldn't get much more centrally located. Two old Houston... More

We have eaten here several times and never once have I had anywhere near a negative experience. The food is consistently good and the staff are always friendly.

Quaint, charming, intimate restaurant. Service was delightful. Food was very good. Mostly traditional Italian, but done with flair. Inside and outside seating.

We were in Houston looking for a new restaurant for us. We wanted to relax, drink a while and just enjoy the night. We were there on a Friday night. Not real crowded because it was early. Lovely gentleman waiter who gave us a very fine place all to ourselves out of way but still very near the piano player.... More

We recently had a family dinner celebration at Antica and it was the perfect place. It is small, yet we did not feel cramped. It is cozy. The atmosphere is authentic Italian, and so is the food. The portions are large, so bring your appetite! You will not be disappointed! And the service is excellent.
