The night there, we were among three large parties filling the place and there was just 3 servers for over 80 covers. With the loud music making communication difficult the recipe was there for a total disaster.- which occurred. Waiting a long long time we realized we were not going to get our starter the Ocopa, which having been in... More

Nice but not exceptional restaurant good for a change from Tex-Mex. The Peruvian-style sandwiches are very good. The location is bright and cheerful.

It's all about the ceviche here. Sorry, but the Lomo saltado was watery, the rice was crunchy, the service is lacking in organization, but the double ceviche they serve in martini glasses is SO GOOD! They basically merge the Mexican cocktail (its sauciness specifically) the Peruvian to give you Peruvian ceviche soaking in rocoto and aji. Honestly don't bother with... More

I never had problems with this restaurant , the food is usually good. But on this day, we ordered yucas rellenas as an appetizer , when we got them, my daughters tried them and they were still frozen inside. They have to take it back and return them hot. Ummm. Well, my daughter order seafood rice, then she bit on... More

We love Peruvian food and this restaurant had nice plates. However, quality has been decreasing, waiting times upraising and smaller plates.

We were new to Houston and we love Peruvian food, so we decided to search for a Peruvian restaurant in the area. We found about 5 of them, but Lemon Tree Restaurant was our choice. We drove 40 minutes to get there but it was definitely worthy. I guess they have a professional chef in the kitchen (Maybe they have... More

The place looks really nice, good for families I guess, and the attention is good. The food is good although not the best Peruvian food you can eat. The Peruvian tamale and the chupe de camarones were good. The aji de gallina had a bit too strong of a flavor. Only an average Peruvian arroz con pollo.

Everything was excellent! Now, you may wonder why only 4 stars, that because they should do a little more research on the seasoning peruvians use. I'm preuvian and visiting Houston for little while. The service is great and the people are really kind, everything is tasty but maybe they should get the Inca Kolas from the actual country and not... More

Nice peruvian food, I lived in Peru for 5 years, quite comparable to what you can find in Lima. Unfortunately, there is no calsa rellena, one of my favorite plates. But overall, this place is good.
