We were in a group in 3 cars going different ways. Hillsboro was the common point so we researched restaurants and decided on this one. There was actually very few options. This could actually be a nice place if they fixed it up a bit. It is in an interesting historic storefront across the way from the very beautiful municipal... More

My two visits here were with family who were regulars. Pizza is good. Calzones are huge. House dressy is red Italian but was a little too tomato-ey for my taste.

I really enjoy Frenzies, it has changed locations and it has been completely renovated. The food is delicious and well worth the price!

Same wonderful family owned restaurant in a bigger, nicer building located at 100 E Elm street in the old bank building. The owner is from Kosovo, not Italy, but he worked in a 5-star Italian restaurant for many years before moving to Hillsboro. The food is still delicious and Rina's tiramisu is still the best I've ever had. Don't miss... More

Who would think you could find real Italian food in Hillsboro, Texas? Located off the square in downtown Hillsboro, just a short drive from the interstate. As a tired traveler on a hot day, I didn't want another hamburger. I found this restaurant by accident. It is nice and cool on the inside. The menu is large with pastas, pizzas,... More

This was my first time and was pleasantly surprised. Although the pizza was a little saltier than I would have liked it was very good. This is a new location for Frenkie's and I had never been to the old one across the town square. It is in an old bank building with vaults intact. One of the vaults is... More

THEY HAVE MOVED THEIR LOCATION FROM FRANKLIN STREET TO ELM STREET. IT IS NOT CLOSED. This restaurant looks like it's in a remodeled bank building....as in, it was a bank in the '50s or '60s....So they dropped in ceilings and walls in what was the expansive lobby of the bank, and the result is quite odd. But get past that... More

Will never go here again... Waitress was rude and I watched as she went to make our salads and put the bowl on the floor to fill up the salad bowls.. Then proceeded to make all of our salads with the bowl she picked up off the floor. And then used her hands to put the salads in the individual... More
