Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

One problem with small towns is that restaurants aren't always open seven days a week. That's true for Glen Rose. Los Primos was one of the few open on Sunday. We arrived about 90 minutes before closing (at the end of dinner rush), but it...seemed like they were already cleaning up and closing down. It took a while for the waitress to get to us, possibly because we were outside, but we weren't the only ones. Perhaps a bit understaffed. The margeritas were fine. My wife and I both had chicken flautas, which didn't taste bad but we can tell they used canned chicken (Costco's Kirkland brand, perhaps?). The kids enjoyed their meals. Prices weren't bad, but the food was about average. Decent drinks, though.More

Not great—Not bad—just ok. Service was pretty good and the food was pretty good. No complaints. Nothing stands out to brag about. It’s ok.

I like the food, chips and salsa were delicious, we ordered mole and chicharron in salsa verde and were yummy. Margaritas are great too, my husband ordered a Bloody Mary and was good too. Arturo and Vanesa were cool.

Honestly, the food was OK, but the waitress was rude and very bad. She brought my tortillas that I had asked for 3 times as I was literally taking my last bite. I told her I no longer cared for them as I was done...eating. She snatched them off the table like I was the culprit and presented my bill-with the tortillas. I told the person at the cash register to remove them and explained why. He was a good kid, but new and had to ask the manager or owner. She called the waitress over to remove them from my bill and she only removed half. I told them to remove the whole charge for the tortillas and the manager/ owner had a fit. These people don’t think rationally. Avoid this dump!More

Saw this place when we went to Dinosaurus Park with lots of cars. Figured it was a good place, but it is a small town with limited options. The food was OK but not as authentic as the waitress led us to believe compared to...Mexican food in Mazatlán or Puerto Vallarta or other parts we travel. Presentation was a scoop of rice there and a scoop of beans there and the main course there, no effort to make it look good, but then the where busy too. The service was teh worst we have had in this part of Texas. My receipt said Jessica 2, She too, the order and brought he drinks, which cam ein large glasses. Problem was the ice was above the rim so you had to use a straw to be able to drink it because other wise you could not get your lips over the edge. We ordered a large con Queso. It was plain vegetable bowl of cheese but it was good, again no effort for presentation. The problem was with warm cheese you need chips, which I asked her to bring. I finally got up went to the counter because she next brought the chips and the cheese was starting to cool off. When the main course came, we had ordered a meat and a combo chimichanga. I got 1/2 way through me when I hit chicken which made us aware that we had to switch meals at the table because teh wrong order was served to the wrong people. When we got the bill she said she would take it and we waited for a while before she returned. It would have been so much easier if we could have just gotten up and paid at the counter. Sadly we had never been here before and we did this outing with guests from Colorado. Should have just gone to one of our regular places in Granbury.More

Bright and fun atmosphere. Enjoyed the pre-meal chips and salsa as the seasoning on the chips was unique and salsa was pretty mild. Beans and rice were good, rice was a little different with peas and carrots. Really enjoyed the enchiladas with carnitas and sour...cream sauce was good as well.More

We had a terrible experience dining here. It took us over an hour to get our food and the waitress only told us that our order had been lost after we questioned her about our 45 minute wait when it wasn't busy. It was then...after the lunch special had ended so our bill was being charged at dinner prices and was substantially higher. When we asked them to fix our bill they became extremely aggressive and one of the waitresses was screaming at us to leave and not come back. When I attempted to contact the manager on Facebook she blocked me after I just asked her if she was the manager. She had attacked several people on Facebook for not trying to contact her first before they left negative reviews about their experiences, so I thought I would give her that courtesy, but she just immediately blocked me. We only had a 30 minute lunch break when we arrived and we ended up being there over an hour and 15 minutes with only 2 or 3 other tables having people at them.More

wife and i passing thru; called a 2-go order ahead of arrival; asked for 2 beef fajitas and 1 tostada/chalupa. when the lady rang up a $30+ charge i challenged it. she said i was paying for fajita dinner for two, then blamed me for...not specifying "no rice, no beans" in my order. according to her simply saying d"2 beef fajitas" does not absolve one from being charged for the dinner for two. unfortunately, i had given her a $50 bill and didn't notice the overcharge until she made change. i was screwed. down the road we noticed they didn't include any tortillas.More

We went there couple of days ago when they opened up 25% seating...we didn’t feel welcome when we entered this place! Staff looked they were force to work and when we ask for patio seating they didn’t told us it was a smoking area and...we had 2 kids with us plus there was another family seating out there were so loud and they were talking inappropriately around kids we could hear everything and they were seated far but they wanted to be noticed, even though the manager didn’t seem to care and there was another family of four annoyed by this loud family! The food came and it was better off to go any other fast food to be honest! Don’t go they don’t make an effort to serve you better in this craziness! We support local business but they need to put their part too...More

Really disappointing food. No flavor at all. Queso tasted canned and everything else felt like Sysco reheats. Service was excellent but we won’t be back.

This was the third time to eat at this restaurant and the third time was not the charm. The service was slow and the food was on par with your local Taco Bueno. I ordered the tortilla soup and it was so salty that it...could not be eaten. I told the waiter and he just said with a big smile that he would let the kitchen know. I told the cashier the same thing about the soup and got no response, in fact I asked him if he heard me. He said he did and he was sorry, but he wouldn't take it off the bill. The total bill for us was $51.00 and that will be the last dollar this place will ever get from me or my family.More
