Food is reasonably priced and average BBQ. I have eaten here for six years and suddenly found a 35 cent charge for a glass of water. Cashier stated they've always charged it, but I've never been charged before. Not on the menus, either, and another employee said water in glass was free. Cashier was miffed I questioned it. Only 35... More

By far best bbq in town and a great value, daily lunch specials and I would recommend the cliffhanger!

The restaurant is about a block from the Seawall, so while it is not visible to most tourists, it is not hard to find. You park at the curb. The restaurant looks like an old house with a good atmosphere. There are two small dining areas, one in the front, and one in the back, separated by the fountain drink... More

We tried to place a Togo order, I like my chopped beef potato with the meat on the side. That way, I get to eat as much of the potato with as much of the beef as I like. The OWNER refused to serve my order and said if I couldn't eat it the way he served it then I... More

The food is delicious and the venue has great ambiance. You step up to the inside window to place your order and sit at inside picnic tables to enjoy.

Queen's is a noteworthy stop for lunch or dinner. The brisket is tender, and they sliced it thin without any fat as requested. My husband knows great Barbeque since he is from South Carolina. He thinks Queen's is a great meal, complete with unusual side dishes, country music playing, and autographed pictures of famous Country Music Artists! Texans take their... More

Acknowledging that "the best barbecue" is a highly subjective topic, I would rate Queen's as one of the best I've had in quite awhile. The prices are very reasonable and all of the meats that I tried were delicious. The location is, like so many other restaurants, in a corner building not too far from the seawall. It's nothing fancy... More

Some of the best barbecue I've ever had. The cliffhanger sandwich is Amazing and the service was great. We were vacationing there and unsure of what to order and they gave us several sample sides to try their items! Homemade desserts were great as well. Well worth the trip!

We stopped at two other bbq places before landing here. What a gem! We had 7 people in our group. The staff was knowledgeable and made excellent suggestions! Everyone was stuffed and happy. I would recommend to out of towners.

Went to Queen's to grab a couple of cliffhangers... And as always they were delicious. Cliffhangers and stuffed potatoes are the best. Keep up the good work!
