We got 2 fried pies to go. A cherry one and an apricot. Both were great and stuffed with fruit. I suggest you give them a try.

Been going to Fried Pie on every visit to Gainesville for many years. Food is good and fresh. The pies are heavenly! Can never decide my favorite so we buy a big box and freeze them. My current favorite is Pineapple Cream. Just like my mothers. It is divine!!

The Fried pie is just what the name says. They serve fresh home made fried pies daily, plus they serve breakfast and lunch. The only reason didn't give the "PIE" 5 stars is this family restaurant does not serve dinner.

The place reminds me of the way old home-style cooking restaurants use to be. Mostly windows to look out at the square with old fashion tables and antique coffee pots. The price was reasonable but I would just say the biscuit and the fried pies did not taste homemade but okay. It took at least 15 minutes and we were... More

Having a meal at the Fried Pie Company Restaurant is a step back in history. The building sits on the southwest corner opposite the courthouse and is original to the building of Gainesville's downtown square. We had breakfast there, a homey version of eggs and pancakes with grits and hashbrowns as options. The food was good, pricing was reasonable, the... More

While visiting friends, we made a special trip to get some breakfast/lunch & fried pies. Two of us wanted breakfast (available all day) and the other two wanted lunch fare. By the time we finished all that, we were too full for fried pies, so we got about a dozen to go. Days later still delicious. TIP: Once the day's... More

We tried this place for the pies, but we will go back for the breakfast and the lunch... the menu looked great and good pricing. The food coming out of the kitchen looked fantastic and the traffic was constant. The pies were GREAT!!! Homemade filling.... a must try if you are in the local area!!!! Making plans to go for... This is a great breakfast spot and they apricot fried pies are simply amazing. They have many flavors of fried pies and everyone in our group found something to love. We did eat dinner or lunch here at some point, but it really wasn't all that great. Don't miss the fried pies though!

We visited the Fried Pie Co. on a Saturday afternoon. Very easy to locate, park and no wait time. Unfortunately, we did not have time to sit down for a meal; however, several people were there and the food coming out of the kitchen looked awesome. Our party tried six different fried pies...oh la la. They were all incredible and the... More

Not much thrill here, and that is not a bad thing. This is the old timers spot for morning coffee and breakfast. This is your hometown cafe with homestyle cooking. Budget friendly prices and big portions. My personal favorite is the chillicheese burger with chilli cheese fries. Follow it up with one of their delicious fried pies. No need to... More
