This Kolache Depot is so much better than the first one. This one is in the side of a gas station and sometimes you think Oh maybe not so good, but this is well worth the stop. They are well worth the stop, and you can get some and freeze them so that you have them at home for later.

In a busy location but you can always get fresh, fast and friendly service! The variety makes choices the toughest part of the process!

As owners of the Moore-Ventura Bed and Breakfast in Ennis, we always treat our guests to authenic Czech Kolaches from the Kolache Depot Cafe and Bakery one morning during a weekend stay. Our guests are impressed and love joining in part of the Czech heritage and culture.

Ignore the fact that is inside a gas station (Chevron). This place rocks! Every flavor kolache you could want and other sweet treats too! There are some tables if you wanted to sit & enjoy your treats there or you could just run through the drive through which should be open soon (?).

Having had a Czech mother, I am very familiar with Kolaches as well as other Czech delights. The kolaches here are good, but I was disappointed with the ratio of filling to dough. There are several kolache stores in Texas and this one is simply average. Several others have better kolaches in my opinion. Another disappointment for me was there... More

How can you not love a cherry kolache? The pastry is flakey and fresh cherries are to die for. Fating at is best.

If you want authentic delicious kolaches, don't let the location deter you. You'll have to stand in line, they're worth it.
