We haven't been to On the Border in years. On a recent trip to Texas we went in for dinner. It was walkable from our hotel. I ordered the taco salad with chicken. The waitress warned me that it didn't come in a taco shell. I said that's fine! It was terrific and I cannot wait to go back.

Went there with my Son & Grand Daughter. We each had something different. I had Beef Fajitas. They were good & I enjoyed them, but would have been even better if they had Mushrooms on them. My Son had BF Chimichanga & She had Kid Nachos & they enjoyed their food also. The service was excellent & the place is... More

There is too much competition in Texas for good Mexican and TexMex. On the Border in Denton was ok - but there are many other places that server better, more authentic food. We visited on a Friday evening. The restaurant was busy but we were seated straight away. Our server was good. The food and drinks all tasted good.

This is a typical chain restaurant with average food. The staff here however is well above average. They are friendly and attentive providing consistently great service. They did not waiver when faced with special orders and offered suggestions to help meet our dietary needs readily.

I like On the Borders, but this is the best one I have found. Food was tastier than I have had at other Borders. Service was great. Prices are really reasonable. If you like mexican you can't go wrong.

Well I wanted to give this location a good review but it ain't gonna happen. We have gone to this location a few times and it's always the same. We wait and wait to even be recognized at our table. Service just doesn't cut it. Food is the usual for OTB.. thinking Mattitos might start getting our business instead:-/

Had dinner with my wife, son and his girlfriend before a concert at UNT. We had a limited amount of time but I guess Sunday nights are not very busy at OTB. The menu has changed and some popular items were removed. Had green enchilada's which we okay, but nothing special. I don't eat corn so asked if any of... More

Was staying at the Courtyard and walked over to OTB for dinner around 9:00pm. Sat at bar and was not impressed with the overall service as too much drama among the wait staff as they corralled in the back and unfortunately their unhappiness of being there could be heard. Food was OK but just wanted to eat and leave. There... More

The food here is pretty good Tex-Mex. The chicken chimichanga and their tacos are the bomb! The salsa is great and the queso is really good. As far as service goes, there's really nothing "wrong ". There was two of us dining and we ordered queso with tortillas. It should be a service standard to bring plates to the table... More

We have been to On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina about 3 times because it is close to our home. The food is fairly well presented, the taste is good, but I think they charge too much.
