My business associate is visiting from India and I wanted to take him to an authentic Tex-Mex restaurant that is not a chain. This restaurant has been here since the early 1980's that I know of, maybe longer. I have never gotten a bad meal here. I had the tacos el carbon and they were delicious. My associate had the... Took some new hires here today, as one Dallasite had not heard of this place. I ventured away from the 12A and had beef enchiladas. AMAZING! One suggestion: move the hostess stand back or move the cashier line. It was a bit confusing to figure out which line was which.

Had great time with family. The chile relleno ... cheese filled poblano was divine. The margarita was good and the bar was lightning fast.

I can't wait to tell anyone who will listen about this restaurant. I grew up learning to love Tex-Mex most Sunday mornings at Houston's premier Mexican food restaurant, Felix's. Even though I haven't lived in Houston for may years, I was still saddened when I heard they had closed. There will never be another Felix's.....but 'Wholly Cow', there are 3... More

Great food. Plenty of room. Plenty of parking. Not near a bunch of other restaurants. Worth the trip. Excellent for large groups.

I had the beed fajitas and they are great, I would also recommend rheir flour tortillas(complimentary) they are really good. Food is not overpriced at all and service was fast.(even on a Sunday) All in all I would come back.

We were a very large group and the service was great. Our end of the table had queso and it was good, but the salsa was better (you can buy it by the jar). The beef and cheese enchiladas were good, but the fajitas were great. The homemade tortillas were delicious. A good choice.

I was told it was great.... I went, several times... don't get it. I think it needs some depth to its flavor, other than that its just a big warehouse of medium food.

If this were in NY, people would say its great, but in Texas, not so much, The quality is ok, but nothing special. The service is usually good. I do like their hot sauce.

My new favorite Mexican food restaurant! The chips and salsa were awesome. In other Mexican restaurants typically the salsa is served chilled/room temperature. The salsa here is warmed and yummy with the warm chips. I look everywhere for a really good chicken Chile Relleno. I've now found my new favorite! So yummy and the cheese sauce on top is perfect,...
