We ordered from Norma's Cafe through Uber Eats and we were well pleased with the whole experience. The Mushroom Bacon Swiss Burger was out of this world. My husband said it was the best burger he has ever had. I had the Chicken fried Chicken with gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, and carrots. Everything was delicious!! We will definitely be... I have been going this Norma's for a LONG time and has stayed a tasty and a quaint spot to have southern comfort food. If you like hardcore diner food without modern urban fusion frills, this is the place for you! I especially like the chicken fried chicken and the green beans.

The restaurant was very busy, but the food, service and atmosphere was great! Our waiter was visiably rushed, but still very polite and professional. The food arrived quickly, and was hot and appetizing. I recommend this cafe when in Dallas.

Arrived for lunch just after 11:30 and seating was available. No line. Always used to be a line. Very average food took a half hour to arrive. My wife's smothered steak was over cooked. My broccoli never came, but the wait person did provide a dessert to replace that (good peach cobbler). My smothered pork chop turned out to be... More

I came here for lunch with a few coworkers. I really wanted breakfast so this was great for me. I'm pretty sure you can get breakfast anytime of the day here. Even though this place was busy we were able to walk right in and grab a table. It was around 11am. I heard if you get here much later... More

Went on a Saturday and that place was packed! We had to park on the street in front of a house. Luckily since we were a party of 2 we were sat fast. There was a party of 5 there before us that had to wait much longer. It was pretty cold in there due to the constant opening of... More

I always enjoy a good diner with plate lunch style food. This place was the bomb! Clean dining area, great service, and delicious home-style food. Apple pie was perfect ending to a great meal!

I ate lunch at Norma's today with my husband and brother. We each had a vegetable plate, and the vegetables were so good and tasted so much like good homemade that it was almost hard to believe it was not made in a grandmother's home and brought in. The employees were all very outgoing and friendly, and made you feel... More

Norma's Cafe is a Dallas home-cooking institution, founded in 1956. Norma's serves up hot, fresh and delicious savory home-styled meals, with a sinfully Southern flare, that are sure to make your mouth water. The original location has been operating in Oak Cliff for over 50 years. Now, Norma's has a new location on Dallas Parkway in North Dallas. Norma's Cafe is the rare type of restaurant that one can stop by for just a cup of our freshly brewed coffee or a full-on family meal and leave equally satisfied. With our fun-loving cafe atmosphere and iconic Texas photos and decor, Norma's Cafe is a place where you can have your pie and eat it too.
