Nice location between Gates 10 and 12 at Dallas Lovefield, they offer a good selection of burgers and sandwiches. We had the grilled chicken breast sandwich with sweet potato fries and a Cesar salad to share. Portions were ample, and food was tasty.

We have eaten at Cool River in Love Field on a number of occasions. Quality of food has detereorated. Crab cakes arrived as black, overcooked, greasy balls. My wife sent them back. The new serving was not much better - not cooked as hard, but greasy. My sliced beef sandwich was large, but mostly bun. The meat gave the impression... More

Completely oblivious waiters apparently don't understand they are working in an airport where people don't have time to wait endlessly for service/food. And when politey asked to take an order they cannot be more snotty and inconvenienced. Choose this place only if you have a 2+ hour lay over.

My wife and I shared a roast beef sandwich au jus and cole slaw along with fries that I've never experienced before but they were the cat's meow.....Our server was very polite and friendly and very efficient.....If you've got some time to spare and are in terminal D at the DFW airport, you should give this place a visit.....

If you are stuck and need food, go to any of the fast food venders and not here. The only thing they offer is alcohol, a there than that the food was not eatable. Stay away from all of the starters.

Every road warrior knows that the best places for a layover meal in DFW are all in Terminal D - the expansive, modern, international terminal. Cool River Cafe contributes to this, with good (not great) steaks, huge specialty salads, well-made sandwiches and soups, and a few good beers on tap. If you're "in the know," you'll know you can sit... More

I will say that the airport has a ton of restaurants to choose from. I had breakfast here, an omelette with home fries. For airport food, it wasn't bad. But otherwise, it was just so-so. Honestly it was a little dry. But the service was good and everyone was friendly so all in all, not bad!

It was dinner time, 4 hours before boarding the late night flight. Not far from gate D40, Cool River Cafe was like a beacon in a deep fried / hamburger sea of food offerings. The girls had Chicken Panini (one is enough for two) and I had the Chop House salad (see photos). The Panini was good honest food. The... More

It looked good in the case, but the chicken salad was mushy and tasted sweet. Almost as if there was some relish in there. Not worth the money, for sure.
