The restaurant is warm, inviting, and intimate. We were greeted like old friends by the hostess and found every member of the front staff to be excellent. We were celebrating a family birthday and it was the perfect venue for a celebration. I also note that all but one table around us was celebrating either a birthday or anniversary. We... More

Finally got a reservation here after years of trying. It's still difficult to get a weekend reservation unless you're awake and online at exactly midnight. Actually, we were always able to snag a reservation from day one, all those years ago, providing we would take a Wednesday at 5pm or a Tuesday at 9:45. Uh...no. Anyhoo, we arrived for my... More

Overpriced and not living up to it! After four years of trying to book this restaurant to celebrate my Wife's Birthday, finally with the introduction of online bookings, we made the guest list! I'm a simple guy, who occasionally has to bite the bullet and succumb to his Wife's wants...Lucia has been on her bucket-list since it opened. I have... More

From the variety of olives in a dish to the wonderful assortment of desserts, Lucia nails Italian! The restaurant is cozy and the waitstaff is so friendly. The menu/wine list were explained in detail before we ordered. As in Italy restaurants, there were excellent selections in the antipasti, primi, and secondi sections. We tried the prunes with fois gras and... More

Always great foodie cuisine at Lucia. Had the salumi misti and crostini with Stracciatella cheese, both very good. Then the pappardelle with rabbit ragu. And for entres we had cod with pork belly, which was fantastic, and the lamb steak, also very nice. Dessert was a gingerbread cake with brown butter gelato. As always, cosy ambience, prompt and knowledgable service,... More

Tiny, high end (but not fancy) Italian, feels like home where you don't have to cook or clean up. Been here many times and it's always excellent.

I have many words about Lucia... all of them wonderful. Had an amazing dinner here last Saturday. Risotto with shrimp sausage!! Sausage made from shrimp!!! The service was great, wine recommendations spot on. Even the bread was delish. Can't wait to go back.

Truly awesome cured meats, if you are a lover of cured meats like myself you will really love going to Lucia. Loved the Lonzardo, and the bread is served warm and fresh. My favorite dish here was the Pork Belly Braciole which had a delicious red sauce. Some excellent Italian wines to accompany the wonderful food.

Heard this was the best restaurant in Dallas, but I think that's basically due to the fact that you have to plan a month ahead to get a table. The food is good, and beautifully presented. We had the butter lettuce salad, which was fabulous, with a very nice dressing. One of the appetizers has some of their in-house cured... More

Just a heads up, if you really want to eat here then get a reservation. It is a very small place that sits MAYBE 20-25 at the most. This isn't a place for picky eaters. It's also pretty pricey if you want anything bigger than a baby portion of food. I loved the bread and butter you get but everything... More
