The extended family dined here the night before Thanksgiving. The service was good, our waiter was a lot of fun and handled us with lots of small children wonderfully. The schnitzel and fried potatoes were delicious. German potato salad wasn't to my liking but there was plenty of food to it, so it was no bother. We'll be back thgthge... More

We're never disappointed when we eat here. We had lunch there Saturday and it was absolutely delicious! Service is always fast and friendly! And the desserts are to "die for". We love this place!!

I was told that when your in the area you have to stop in and taste the great food. So I did and all I can say is I will stop in every time I am in the area. This place is known by all the locals and now I to know why.

I don't know how authentic the food is, because i have nothing to compare it to, but it's delicious. I love the atmosphere, the wait staff is friendly, and my picky-as-all-get-out 11 year old loves the food here. Can't wait to go back!

This family owned German restaurant serves up delicious and authentic German fare. My husband misses his grandmother's German cooking and there are no German restaurants near our home area. He looks forward to our visits to the Copperas Cove area and we love to eat here.

We've been there many times and it was very good. However; today the gravy on the food seemed more like a store bought kind than a great dark brown gravy. We were all very disappointed.

The place was very slow when I went in on a Saturday. I ordered the Zigeuner schnitzel with sides of red cabbage and beet salad. Zigeuner schnitzel is one of my favorite german dishes, and I was very disappointed with this meal. The wait person brought my bread and beet salad immediately after I placed my order. About 5 minutes... More

The food was authentic enough but lacked the presentation an actual German restraunt would have for the price and portion size. If you have never had German food before and are curious it is worth a try.

Went to German Imbiss for lunch yesterday after living in Cove for 6 months and saying to ourselves we'd go soon. We sat at a table that an employee was cleaning when we came in, since no one offered to seat us, but she didn't even say hello, much less give us menus. Another employee came out to ring some... Just moving here from Germany, this is just ok. I had the Goulush and I wouldn't call it Goulash. My daughter liked her Schnitzel, but everything covered in mushroom gravy can't be to bad. I guess I just need to move back to Germany.
