Similar to canes, but superior. Great chicken at college friendly prices with a great college feel. You will come out of here smelling like fried food but is a great place for a quick bite anytime.

For old times sake we met the graduating grandson and his girlfriend at Layne's one last time. We agreed to meet up at the “newest”, 1780 Greens Prairie Road West location. Took us a while to find it. Our GPS was more than a little...More
Amazing food especially for cheap for college kids. Definitely something you have to get if you're in College Station for the first time.

I like a place where you can just go into and order. They offer chicken strips and chicken sandwich. Great portions for the price. It was a busy afternoon before an A&M game. But the service and speed was fine. My only issue was the...More
This place was so much better than Cane's, which is just next door! Better value for the amount of food you get and they've been here longer than that other franchise! Their sauce is the ticket! More flavor and more peppery! A meal comes with...More
