We ordered takeout for a large family gathering and were very pleased with the food. The brisket was very tender and lean, as was the chicken breast and pork ribs. This was our first visit to the restaurant even though we have seen it for several years. Although It has never seemed to be busy we picked it because it... More

I think Dickey's is better than most of the BBQ places in town. My only complaint is their portion size on the waffle fries isn't big. Sometimes the fries aren't cooked all the way. Their sauce is awesome. They have free ice cream when you dine in.

We stopped at this place after shopping for fishing gear at the place next door, Gander Mountain. The place is cute, and the inside is unremarkable. The menu is on the left side of the line, or above the cash register. My spouse got the Pulled Pork Tacos, and I got the smallest sliced BBQ sandwich. It is expensive, but... More

In addition to operating a restaurant, Dickey's also provides catering services. Today I attended a meeting where Dickey's provided the meal. I found the barbecue brisket to be tender and flavorful, and the sides were delicious. Dickey's, while not for true barbecue aficionados, provides a quality product at a reasonable price.

This place is decent on the BBQ and excellent on the LARGE sweet tea. It has a quick drive-thru for on the go ordering. Overall, not a bad place to stop by. Oh... did I mention the ahhh-mazing sweet tea?

If you want some bar b cue, and are not an aficionado, just want to filling meal, then this place works. The place is clean, quiet and you get plenty of food and refills at a good price. You order and then get your own drink and sit. They bring it out to you. We had the baked potato with... More

Went here for dinner with my son who is at Texas A&M. We love BBQ and have been to plenty of BBQ restaurants . You order at the counter. Menu is average with the usual BBQ selections . I ordered the one meat brisket with fried ocra and Mac and Cheese. I received fries instead of the ocra, they apologized... More

Normally Dickey's is very moist and marbled nicely. This was a little dry. The order/cashier guy was very friendly and asked why I was alone (I was out of town on a trip). Was busy on a sunday night. Must be the Kids Eat Free. Thanks for that as well. Every little bit helps.

We have eaten at Dickey's on several occasions and really enjoyed the food and service. We found out about their catering division and it saved us this year for holiday parties. We had 5 holiday parties and Dickey's catered all of them to some degree including delivery and set up. They exceeded expectations and the food was fantastic. They were... More

On the feeder off of HWay 6 bypass. Standard franchise type facility off the parking lot of Gander Mountain. Food is wholly uninspiring BBQ, I would rank it at the bottom of this municipal area. Fargos is much better, but will probably entail waiting. CJs is a whole lot better and more of a restaurant setting, instead of Dickeys drive-thru,... More
