I've been going there for many years. Excellent food and service! You folks from "back east" be careful with the red enchiladas- they can be spicy hot (the way we locals love 'em).

Stopped in after a few years and the food is out of this world. As it's name implies, it is a little diner, but it is HUGE on Mexican taste and flavor. Had tacos, but the burritos are also spectacular as well as the enchiladas. A little hard to finfd, but well worth the trip.

All of it is pretty good to great... but you must try the Gorditas. Combo plates are a good place to start and, for the hard core, red enchiladas are excellent.

You will become addicted to it. Prepare in advance. There is nothing on this menu that is bad, and there is nothing about the restaurant that is fancy or pretentious--which is just the kind of experience seasoned travelers desire. It is so worth it to go out of your way to enjoy their gorditas or enchiladas. So good! You will... More

The Little Diner is an off the beaten path gem. It is a no muss no fuss casual dining spot. The gorditas are to die for and you can order several varieties - red chile meat, bean and the traditional. My favorite is the traditional which is served with taco filling. The combo platters are huge. You can also call... More

After eating here for the last 30 years and being one of our favorite places for gorditas and fast, friendly service, we will not be returning. When we walked in we were the only customers in line. The young lady did not acknowledge us, so a young man came out of the kitchen to take our order. He sneezed and... More

I have been coming to Little Diner in El Paso since I was a kid - I am now approaching 50 years old. The Little Diner is an El Paso institution. My husband and I ordered Chile Rellenos and Gorditas. Sadly, my Chile Rellenos were so oily, greasy and lumpy I couldn't eat them. We were the first to order... More

There has been a lot of cosmetic updates to this place and it looks wonderful. However, the food remains King. Everything is fresh and made from scratch. They cook and use a stone grinder for the masa to make all there tortillas and Gorditas. Love this place and have been coming here for years. There are serving breakfast now on... More

You order at a counter when you enter. Even though it has beer on the wall board menu, not so...yet as I was told. The young people working were friendly and moderately efficient. Small and fast food feel. However, the food was very good and quick. The green chili chicken enchiladas were good. I would give it a 2 for... More
