Neat location on a quaint old town street. Waited about twenty minutes in line to place and pay for our order. Staff was friendly and efficient. Placed our order found a table for six and waited/waited for our food. Brought the food order for four...More

We always seem to enjoy coming here. Nice menu of light dishes. Reasonably priced, including the wine and beer. Enjoyable to sit outside when the weather is nice.

When we stopped there for lunch, we were starving! The food turned out to be copious and tasty but the young man who took our order was rather unfriendly. My husband opted for the sandwich with cup of soup, and I had the Asian salad...More

I have heard breakfast and their coffees are great. Two friends and I went to lunch. Asian salad tasted like bagged cabbage mix dumped in a bowl with bland dressing. Sad. One friend had chicken salad sandwich, sort of blah. The other friend had quiche...More

Made my third - and last - visit here. The food is passable but way overpriced considering. What's driven me away are the poor attitudes and even worse service of the restaurant's staff. They maintain that impatient "doing me a favor" perspective. There are much...More

Enjoyed delicious lavender mocha coffee and am craving it more and more! It made for a delicious accompaniment to scrambled eggs and perfectly-prepared bacon. Must return for the same very soon!

We had a luncheon meeting in downtown Bryan and decided to hold it at The Village Cafe. While the selections are limited - soups, salads, sandwiches, etc. - I was pleased with the Greek salad I ordered. This is not a fancy place and it...More

Traveling solo i had a few hours to kill. This place was perfect, I could set up my laptop and do some work. Coffee was pretty good. I stayed for dinner and had their pumpkin lasagne: a generous portion and quite tasty. I would come...More

Great breakfast spot frequented by the locals. The owner, Kristy, clearly knows what she's doing running a place like this. While breakfast is served all day until 5pm, they have plenty of other options to choose from, including enough gluten free options to suit your...More

Nice, casual spot to grab breakfast. Lots of gluten free options. Be prepared to wait. Very busy. Only negative is-probably due to being so busy-food can wait awhile to get delivered to table. Our came to us kind of warm, no longer hot.
