Good service although not overly friendly but definitely not rude. Husband's chicken fried steak was great & I got the fried chicken special which was good but was wishing I had chosen the steak. Good choice of veggies especially the greens. Highly recommend them. We went back to the hotel with lunch for the next day. We seldom order dessert... More

K-Bob's is good place to have breakfast on the weekends. A nice selection from Fruit, Biscuits and Gravy, to Bacon/Sausage/Potatoes, Mexican Food, and Omelets made-to-order. Reasonable prices, friendly staff, and Ample Parking.

We stopped here on our way to Houston. I was surprised to see that they serve Nolan Ryan All Natural beef. My kbob was juicy and tender, cooked just right. The broccoli was crunchy and the stir fry, perfect. My husband enjoyed his steak. I will return, when I travel back to Austin

I was on my way to Austin and decided to stop in for lunch. I had been here previously but had been several years. I nearly always got the same thing and was the big reason I chose here. The salad bar was always extensive and very fresh. It was no different today. The taste was good and what I... More

I eat at K-Bobs all the time. I have the grilled Monterrey chicken with steamed broccoli and a sweet potato. It is great! Lots of healthy choices. Also lots of fried stuff, too. I just haven't tried any.

Decent food for what it is. Had Charloin and it was ok I would eat again. Service was slow and is every time I go so I don't expect different.

Coulda been better. We were went for an early lunch and the place was already starting to get crowded on Saturday. K Bobs is worn and a bit used.Fresh and new it is not. The chicken special wasn't good. They don't know how to cook beans. The Charloin was OK. Next time we'll look elsewhere.

I have passed this restaurant for many years on 290 and decided to give it a try. The chicken fried steak was great, salad bar tremendous, and service outstanding. There is nothing fancy about it, but if you are looking for good, freshly prepared, and hot food, then this is the place when on your way to/from Houston/Austin.

We were on our way to Austin and decided to try K-Bob's since it was recommended by a local resident. The wait staff was attentive and the food was cooked to order. The dinner rolls were hot and delicious with melting butter.
