Stopped here after visiting Blanco State Park. It was around 11:45 am or so and getting somewhat crowded. The cafe is counter service and does have quite a few delicious sounding menu items. My husband got the Blanco burger cooked medium and loved it. I got the turkey and provolone sandwich on gluten-free bread - it was really good but... More

We had a HOG chapter ride and creative ate at Redbud Cafe for lunch as a group. The food was excellent, service was excellent, a really nice place to eat. The restaurant is on the town square of Blanco with the old Blanco Courthouse right across the street. You can eat indoor or outdoor we ate indoor.

Loved this place. Order at the counter they bring your food to you. We ordered the Blanco burger, pear and blue cheese salad and beers. The burger was cooked to order, the jalapeño bun was great. The pear salad was fresh and tasty. We enjoyed the beers as well. One of the best burgers in the area even better than... More

Sat at an outside table while looking at the famous courthouse that was used in the remake of the movie True Grit. It was hot, so I had the lavender lemonade, which was pretty refreshing and yummy. The cafe has a great selection of food, wine, beer, deserts, and so on, and has a homey atmosphere. Nice place!

Our family of three enjoyed an awesome lunch at the Redbud! During our 45 minute wait, my daughter and I went shopping at Brieger Pottery which is conveniently located next to the Redbud! While we were shopping, my husband tried some of the incredible Real Ale and settled on an IPA. Everybody was happy when the food arrived. My Redbud... More

Nice little restaurant on the square in downtown Blanco. Great food, drinks, local draft beer, and entertainment. Neat little gift shop next door that is nice to hang out in if you are waiting for your meal.

We loved this casual cafe! All the food here is made fresh. You have to wait a bit, but knowing it is fresh and tasty is worth it. The owners were working today and it was great to observe their demeanor, welcoming and pleasant. In fact, the owner gave our girls a free re-fill of fresh lemonade for waiting so... More

Returning from San Antonio on scenic route I stopped off for late lunch and was delighted to note all their gluten free options. Had the chicken and red bean soup and a veggie style sandwich. The soup was delicious, the sandwich so huge I didn't quite know how to eat it. A delightful find, and will be back.
