Are you kidding Me! This is the mist horrible BBQ in Texas. Can't believe this place is still open, better to eat a box of goat droppings then to eat here. I laugh every time I drive thru this slimy town.

Just had lunch at Al's and it was great. The brisket was tender, moist, and just the right amount of smoke. The chicken breast was to die for. The sausage very tasty. One can not forget the potato salad, different but very good. The free...More
The staff were friendly and polite. I had high hopes until a plate of chopped brisket was handed to me. The fat drained off the brisket and made a moat around it. The only thing I could taste as I dared to take a bite...More
This restaurant serves really good brisket and other favorites. It isn't cheap, but the plates are generous and the menu varied. The potato salad is legendary and all the sides are homemade. If you eat inside the restaurant, you get free homemade ice cream!
First time in Al's & Son BarBQ. Got the regular plate, 2 meats with 3 sides and drink. Brisket was tender & sausage was tasty. We got free scoop of ice-cream that had taste of vinilla/ coconut. Good bar bq. Recommend stopping by!
Thank you for your review, we love our out of town customers. Like most of our food the recipes are handed down from my family, the ice cream is my great grandmothers recipe that she made for my father when he was young.

Food was great! Had BBQ Brisket and BBQ chicken and both were great. Potato salad was to die for. Reasonably priced too!
We went expecting good barbecue and received great barbecue. The assortment of food was good and the restaurant seemed very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. They even brought us ice cream for desert at no additional charge. This was a very enjoyable experience.
