First, let me say I am not crazy about their lunch lineup. They offer a "cafeteria line-up" or you can order from the menu. I was not impressed with the steam table items. HOWEVER, if you are hungry for breakfast, anytime during their business hours, this is the place to go. I love their pancakes, grits, hashbrowns, hot coffee, eggs,... More

Wow I don't know how this place isn't shut down by the health department! Really leaves allot to be desired. I think it is only still open because of support of seniors in Bastrop.

If you enjoy a healthy well blended omelette you may change your mind about ordering one here. I must admit although it was good sized, that's all it had going for it! Yes it was stocked with plenty of onions, tomatoes, green peppers and jalapenos but what it was lacking was the melted cheese inside. They decided to put it... More

I have eaten here before and knew that the food was pretty good, so I stopped here again. I was not disappointed.

We stopped by this place one morning for breakfast because we've been passing it for years, and always noticed the full parking lot. It was mediocre at best. Small portions, greasy and not that great. It could be a cute place if it were cleaned up inside a bit, but it looks run down. I like vintage/retro, and this place... More

This place is right on Hwy 71. It is not quaint like some of those in town, but the food was good, inexpensive, and the service was great.

We wanted something other than a hotel breakfast. This place was close so we stopped in. It wasn't crowded so we sat down and were greeted by nice staff. Food was good. I would recommend this place .

The place opens from 6 am. to 2:30 pm. And serves breakfast/lunch/dinner within that period of time. The ambiance is simple with a diner kind of feeling. It's family friendly, calm and quiet. They serve sit down and cafeteria style food. Our server was a middle aged friendly woman, Sandy. Their grilled cheese and ham sandwich was good. And the dinner... More
