My husband and I came to sweet Bandera and of course, was hungary. Stopped at Sid's. Best idea all day. The BBQ sauce was to die for and the sandwiches were great. Don't forget the sweet potatoes casserole--fabulous! Thanks for a great meal!

We go to Sid's as a family whenever we are in Bandera. The BBQ is good and the staff is friendly. I LOVE their fries! You always see locals coming and going here, so you know it's good. I recommend this little spot to families, couples, singles, everyone.

A small place. Very homey and not fancy. I got sliced brisket and it was great. If you are looking for creamed corn it was also terrific. Outside picnic tables too.

We found Sid's on tripadvisor and were not disappointed by the delicious offerings. When we got to our ranch accommodations it was noted by the owners that Sid's was the best place for BBQ in Bandera. TripAdvisor got it right!

Sid's Main Street may not have the touristy allure of the BBQ joint down the street, but the 'cue and the sides are outstanding. Sid has developed some great recipes over the years, including precise times and temps on his smoker and some great homemade sides. As I travel the Texas Hill Country sampling barbecue, I use brisket as a... More

After reading the reviews, we decided to stop here to get a late lunch. We got a two meat plate with brisket and sausage, along with cream corn, green beans, and macaroni salad. The Brisket had a nice smoke ring was moist and very little fat. It was very good. The sausage was moist and also very good. The creamed... More

During a 3-day stay outside of Bandera, we were in town and needed to grab some lunch. BBQ sounded tasty so we stopped in for a to go plate. We ordered the Brisket & sausage plates with two sides each and it was bagged up and in my hands less than 5 minutes after ordering. That's rare even for typical... More

I had the 2 meat plate. I put the spare ribs at a 5 and the brisket at a 4. Brisket was not bad, just a tad dry for my taste. Great tasting BBQ sauce. I would come back.

Very small shop. Very good BBQ. I fancy myself as more than capable at a grill; however I knew at first taste I couldn't equal those ribs. Top sides were pinto beans and coleslaw. Ground brisket/pulled pork both fine stuff. Sauces on sweet side. Jalapeños and raw onions nice additions. Since no beers I'd go takeout next time cause it's... More

Most recent visit had the chicken special. It was wonderful. My favorite side is the pinto beans, but the potato salad was good when I tried it.
