This place is right out of Mayberry...its in an old hardware store. They have lots of space. The kitchen - the whole kitchen is in plain sight. The silverware is artfully mis-matched. The floor is old and well worn. The waitress are all sweethearts that treat you with such kindness that this Yankee is ready to invade the South again..The... More

Where the people of Woodbury meet to eat and have for years. They even have a "liar's table" for folks that just want to sit and talk.

We had tickets for Cannon County Arts Center at 7:00 and planned to eat at the restaurant advertised as part of the Center. When we arrived, it had closed so we headed into Woodbury and found Joe's Place. It's a very small downtown and the restaurant doesn't look like much on the outside. The inside is very casual, seat yourself... More

Joe's Place has the best home cooked food, great selection and warm hospitality and service. Have been here several times while visiting Tennessee.

Stopped in on my way through Woodbury for lunch. Its a seat-yourself kind of place with menus on the table. Once you have the menu in hand you start to understand the sense of this place. Simple menus, good proportions, fresh food all equate to mean that soon you will be looking down on a plate of something good. It... More

We had breakfast here and really enjoyed it. The place is homey. People are friendly. Food is good and reasonably priced. Service was good. Just the kind of place for a small town home cooking experience. I think I left a pair of reading glasses there. If you find them let me know!

Nice little country diner with meat and 3 at a very fair price. I really got a kick out of the regular's reserved booth that had a sign "liars table".

The food here is amazing, Friendly staff. I love the Joe's Salad. The only thing about the salad now is it is small. They used to have a large size and half size.. But.. even so it is amazing. If you come thru town it is a must stop.

Went there passing through. Kind of pass it before you realize it. Just and average place and more barish than good food.
